Comments on: Another chance to beat the fantasy out of Rob...
by: Rob Reed | April 3, 2009, 5:40pm

If you didn't get a chance to get into any of the Beat the Geek or Playertrack fantasy leagues, one lucky person still has a shot... but, of course, there's a catch.

For 16 years, I have been playing a very fun baseball sim game at baseballmanager.com. It is unlike your normal fantasy game in that the game uses real stats from the night before and simulates ENTIRE games based upon the night before stats.

If a player you have starting the night before does not play, the system uses a random stat from the player's stat bank.

Then, when you wake up every morning, you can login and see a headline as to how your team did for the day.

There are ten teams, multiple 3-game series throughout the season against the 9 other teams... it is pretty intensive...

The catch: It is also expensive (I think it is $80 approx. to participate)... all the participants are well versed in baseball and are great guys (and one gal)! See the link, above, for more details.

If interested, let me know... robertreed [at] gmail dot com.
