eating crow
So, in the latest Fantasy Baseball Index, I put this guy as the NL's most likely to be drafted late who will provide first round value... only to find that the magazine ranks Nolasco as the 10th best pitcher in all of baseball.

Doh!

I guess that the 5.06 ERA isn't scaring anybody away... as the magazines and pundits get more BABIP, FIP, and LOB% savvy, it becomes harder and harder to pretend to be an "expert."

drafted late?
I saw a mock draft today when he went in the FOURTH round... wow, I need to take some breaths to get a proper pulse on the state of things this preseason (what with Torii Hunter going in the TENTH!!!!!).

his k rate
probably keeps him in the fantasy discussion... if he were not for the Ks, this guy has solid sleeper all over him...

doing a search for WHIP, FIP, ERA-, and LOB%-, he is the number 1 pitcher in all of baseball with a min 50 IP...

this means that he suffered a ton of bad luck... the over 1.5/inning jump in Ks is HUGE... when players made contact, they were luckier against Ricky than the average pitcher

I am pegging Ricky as the NL player most likely to be drafted late who will get you early-rounds value.
