could just bring up his average to .250, he could be moderately valuable in AL only leagues...

Gabe can take a walk, which is why the A's snagged him up cheaply, letting Damon go elsewhere.

If he starts in the OF for the A's, I suspect that he'll be replaced pretty quickly.

Consider him a late-round flyer in AL only leagues, but only if you have room to gamble.
