Interesting catcher gamble...
Naysayers are pointing to his high BABIP last season (.375), and I get that... so, is he going to hit .299 again through more of a full season (as it looks like he is the odds-on favorite to get the starting job) competing with Mike Rabelo? Probably not.

This being said, he was originally drafted by Billy Beane and the A's out of Berkeley. And, his OBP numbers the last few years in the minors were actually very good.

So, we know he can take a walk.

My money league is an OBP league, so he is a pretty valuable sleeper there that I am looking at... definite pickup for NL only leagues. Pickup for multi-leagues that don't use OBP? As a backup... for now, I think.
