| FIP does not bode well for Johan's future |
A 2.53 ERA, last season, but a Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP) stat of 3.52?
His strikeouts have dropped, his K/9 dropped 2 strikeouts... his WHIP has increased each of the last two years.
Is this the end of Johan's dominance? Probably not, because even with a 3.50 ERA, his stats are very nice.
But, if he is my number 1 pitcher (and, of course, he will be someone's), I think there's cause for some concern.
