bouncy
Last homer came off Javier Vazquez, who in this particular game went 5ip, 3h, 1r, 0bb, 5k. Beltre himself went 1-for-2 with his 4th homer and he had a walk. No strikeouts.

Beltre is 5-for-10 with 4 homers. 1,700 SLG.

Points to a bounce back, we’ll see, still a small sample size.

Wow
Now, I have gone on the record on the BGeeks Podcast that Adrian would have exact stats as last year.

I did sort of contradict myself when we looked at the AL West saying Beltre would have an improved year.

The reality is that I was only trying to strengthen my point that Seattle would finish third, ahead of the Angels.

After seeing Beltre in the World Baseball Classic, I'm wondering if I am wrong. His swing looks REALLY nice.

I'm going to stick to my guns and say he will reiterate his 2005 season statistically. But, after watching him in recent games, I wouldn't blame you if you completely disagreed.
