This tool allows you to remove players from the rankings. These could be players that you are not interested in, or in the event of a draft, you can remove players as they are drafted, in order to better find your next draft pick.
Click the checkbox to the left of the player name and then click the NIX box above to remove your selections.
RAW stats: rankings are constructed solely using actual statistics from the given year
PRORATED stats: rankings are constructed prorating statistics as if limited at-bat players played a full season (they are denoted in red in the rankings)
POSITIONAL SCARCITY: those offensive positions where there are few players of fantasy value
BIP+: (batting avg on balls in play, aka BABIP) from highest to lowest
BIP-: (batting avg on balls in play, aka BABIP) from lowest to highest
CR%: (contact rate) rate at which player makes contact each AB, highest to lowest
CR%-: (contact rate) lowest to highest
AVG: (average) highest to lowest
AVG-: (average) lowest to highest
ISO: (isolated power) highest to lowest; measures a player's ability to get extra base hits
AB/HR: (number of at bats per homerun) highest to lowest
SB%: (stolen base success rate) highest to lowest
TB: (total bases) highest to lowest
1B: (singles) highest to lowest
2B: (doubles) highest to lowest
3B: (triples) highest to lowest
SO: (strikeouts) lowest to highest
BB: (walks) highest to lowest
K/BB: strikeouts/walks ratio (lowest to highest)
K/BB-: strikeouts/walks ratio (highest to lowest)
R27: (rule of 27) ranks players according to how close they are to 27 years of age
Advanced Search Hints
CR% + BIP- + AVG- = find players who made a lot
of contact with the ball but who suffered from bad luck, meaning
they might be good options for increased AVG next year
CR% + BIP- + AVG = find players who did well in AVG, but who could do even
better next year with some increased luck
CR%- + BIP+ + AVG = find players who just plain got lucky and are due for an AVG regression
SB + SB% = stolen base effectiveness, particularly useful for leagues that incorporate "caught stealing"
