what you see is what you get |
He fractured his forearm in a collision last May which shortened his season, but he was on pace to do the expected.
.270-.280 AVG with 50-65 RBI, 80 R, 15 SB, 6 HR are what you can reasonably expect.
In short, this means: if you are desperate at the slim position of shortstop, he is a fair endgame pick who will not kill you.
There is AVG upside, because I can't really tell from the 4 seasons of stats that we have from him what exactly a reasonable BABIP is for him... I suspect he is more league average, which makes him a .270ish hitter.

I looked back and you had Hanley Ramirez... with Aaron Hill, you are set, bro. Good luck!

where you also already had a solid SS? no need for asdrubal with hill and a solid short, unless it is something like a 15 team league and you want to hoard on another shortstop to make it hard on the other guys playing...
probably better to get a better player for your DH spot -- I think I'd even rather have someone like David Ortiz in my UT spot than Asdrubal...
remember that asdrubal is just one year removed from a sub .200 first half of the season...
