suffered from a ton of bad luck
the signing of a very solid Miguel Olivo is bad news for Chris... but his average should come back to more respectable levels.. his moderate power continues to make him intriguing - especially because this is his rule of 27 year...

Home-Road split
Just looked at his home-road splits for HR -- 11 HR at home, 7 away in about the same number of at bats... not bad at all.

For real?
I think he did a good job of showing that he is a 20 HR power catcher, which is very nice... not sure if he would be that way outside of Colorado, but I have not looked at the home-road splits...

Good article on Iannetta as breakout star in 2009 at http://www.thefantasybaseballhalloffame.com/will-ch
ris-iannetta-be-a-breakout-star.html
.

His .314 BABIP last season like indicates that he is more of a .250-.260 hitter, but if he gets lucky in the 70% of the time that he makes contact, it certainly is possible that he could rank in the top 3 in catching in 2009.

for real
Is this guy for real? He is on an absolute rampage for a catcher. Colorado front office is excited about him obviously and is getting him more and more playing time each day. Does this guy have .300 20 hr capability?
