lots of folks
will tell you that he a lot of upside... I would disagree at this point. He is only 25, so that's a plus in the upside favor. And, he has shown remarkable power.

Once again, those excited about Colby have succumbed to the #1 reason why a lot of folks get burned in the fantasy game: love of the long ball.

He was thrown out almost 50% of the time. He struck out a ton. And, his BABIP was much higher than league average, so he is likely more of a .250 hitter at this juncture.

This season will be a good indicator of hitting skill in the long term if he can reduce his Ks and not swing for the fences.

And, I'd say he is worth an end game gamble because of his age and power. This being said, there is someone in your league who is prepared to shell out more money then he is worth. Don't let that be you.

as long as
you get Jackson for SBs only, you're good... but his .415 BABIP which he has surprisingly maintained since I predicted avg implosion awhile ago is GONNA destroy his average (and your team avg potentially)

Austin Jackson
Actually I do have some one who would make that deal is will the league let it go through is a different story. I have Hill (yes I am banking on him making a comeback)

rasmus is running
so you might have gotten some cheap SBs here, but I don't like the deal, unless you are stocked with a solid 2B... Jose is a good bet to improve the remainder of the way and the 2B/3B eligibility makes him nicely flexible...

Rasmus, on the other hand, has a very low contact rate and en extremely high BABIP, which doesn't bpde well for that .284 avg... 22-15 is a possibility for Rasmus, which is alright... but the .250-.260ish average that we can expect by season's end could be a killer...

Good idea to sell high on Medlen, though...

Don't think anybody would give you Austin for Edwin, fyi.

Colby Rasmus
Well just made another trade in my keeper league where I dont think I have a shot but still going to give it a try. I traded Medlen and Jose Lopez for Rasmus. I need to get some sort of SB was thinking of offering another team Encarnarcion for Austin Jackson. I know he isnt going to hit 300 but I need some SB Thoughts?
