Message #4 by Rob Reed @ December 12, 2009, 02:19pm
has established himself
as one of the best in the business... and the good news for Brewers fans? he is only JUST 26.

batting average can take a hit and look like 2008 once again, but the power and speed is here to stay, making braun the perfect first round pick.

small reduction in Ks might be the indicator that Braun is primed to hit his prime.

don't sweat it just yet
Those are a pretty good 1-2 pair. Braun has shown that his power is for real... and, yes, as the saying goes... it is early.

As the weather heats up, so will both of these guys. When you start with the corp of players, an 11th place finish is not in the cards for you. You'll do much better.

Braun is moving back to the 3 hole, with Prince protecting him.

That's GREAT news for you.

It's beginning to look like...
Your post on 2/19 was dead on. I drafted Braun at the 12 slot in a 12 team, 5x5 roto league. I took Crawford at 13, too. Guess what? I am in 11th place right now & I need these two to get it going or I will stay in 11th place.

Can this kid repeat?
Out of nowhere, and he comes in at #2 among ALL players in PlayerTrack rankings.

I am just not convinced... and, in my auction draft (assuming he doesn't get kept by the team that picked him up as a free agent), I intend on bringing him up early to watch the bidding soar.

Great player? For certain. Still early to judge if he is superstar? I think so.
