He seems like a Carlos Quentin but with 1B eligibility. Possibly not great avg but with power and some run production.

He's 27, so I find that provocative, as well as multi-position in the OF. If you need power late, this is your guy, but a potential average killer.
The average is so across the board that I can't get any read on a prediction from his peripherals. I would only say t6hat since he is in peak age year and coming off a very bad year, that a .260 average is relatively safe.
But that isn't all that good with 550 ABs.

I still need to fill my CI position in a keeper league. Would you take a chance on Lind to fill the void since he will play 1B most of the time. What are your thoughts? Bounceback candidate? What round would you take him considering keeper league inflation?

Power is too good to pass up with this guy. He has regression all over him, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10 HR drop next season, but even with that kind of drop, he is a very solid OF.

on the latest podcast -- check it out on itunes, or you'll be able to hear it online here later when i put it up (probably within the next few hours)
yup... sell HIGH... listen to the podcast for the reason but the long and short is: high BABIP, low CR% == future bust
he didn't hit a HR for weeks... and now he has 2 this month... this is the perfect time to sell high, but act like you are doing it begrudgingly (especially because of the two HRs this month so far)...
Lind is a good option for a 5th OF, but I think folks might trade you something as if Lind is a solid #3.

the chris shelton of 2009 |
Yup, bearlo... I think you pegged it. Lind just hit his third HR of the season... as far as I am concerned, this has Chris Shelton written all over it.
If you have Lind and don't sell high on him by the end of April, you'll be sorry!

Yah, I bet you Lind fans are excited now, huh? If you answered yes to that question, please google "Tuffy Rhodes."
