I agree with you regarding the luck factor... his stats are still pretty respectful despite suffering from a lot of bad luck. I stick with him. as a solid #4, #5 in multis. If, at season end, he is more of a #2, #3, I'll consider it a gift. As his luck reaches more reasonable levels, I can see a 3.60 ERA, 1.29 WHIP by season's end with 13 wins.

Message #1 by Brian Ramos @ May 3, 2010, 08:09am Could be much better! Hey Rob, Another guy I really like. His stuff may be maturing and could sustain the increased K rate. BABIP is very high suggesting some bad luck so far, yet he still has a very decent ERA (supports a FIP in the low 2's). Strand rate isn't too far off the league avg. I had him last yr in my keeper league and just got him off the wire a week or so ago and I know he is very consistent. When off he doesn't have really terrible outings like some pitchers do on occasion (or more often than not: i.e. Edwin Jackson! BLAH!). Thanks! Brian
