pick up ziegler?
Right now, Sherrill is the man in Baltimore. So, I go with sure things. The only sure-thing closers on your roster are Wood, Qualls, and Sherrill. I think your decision should be between Motte or Ziegler... who would be better? For me, it is a toss up.

Ziegler was very good, but his FIP (see right) was MUCH higher than his ERA, which scares me away a bit. Still, that stretch of scoreless innings convinced me enough to pick him up off waiver wires last year.

I think I stand pat if I were you.

For now.

Ziegler or Sherrill
I have Sherrill in my keeper league, but I am thinking about dropping him for Ziegler (who was named co-closer) or for DL stashee K. Escobar. I just don't see much upside in having Sherrill with the Ray likely taking over the CL role very soon. I have 3 other closers (Motte, Wood & Qualls), so I don't necessarily need another one (if Motte lands the job and keeps it). Think Sherrill is worth it until he clearly loses the job which seems inevitable after his performance this spring and comments (about not minding that Ray close)?

Thanks!
