Verducci effect

Don't think the guy is this good... and, even if he is... the arm fatigue per the "Verducci effect" is liable to hurt him this year.

I pass on him because I believe he will be overvalued this year.

Then, I hope he really does stink up the joint, and I can try and get value on him next season.

So where does he stand in regards to Stud Pitchers like a Lester or Grankie or Ubaldo ? We saw regression in his BABIP but 9.21 K/9 and 1.08 Whip in first full season is he the real deal or do you see the numbers getting worse?

are you excited?

His story is cool... he is only 22 years old.

But, am 85% strand rate and a .236 BABIP are the tale of the tape here... regression the rest of the way should happen, and he will probably be WAY over valued next year.
