Now, the negative. He turns 38 tomorrow. His recent reduction in BABIP is a good indicator that his skills as a hitter are falling. This is particularly true because his contact rate is above league average AND it has been consistently good.

At Coors, I could see .275-.280 as an upper tier mark that is possible, which could mean 15-20 HRs, 85 RBI, 85 R.

This is a very optimistic figure, though.

The very remarkable reduction in power last year throws too many red flags at me... BUT, consider him now a solid endgame sleeper for a farm squad.
