I believe that in many auction leagues, you can get him later and for pretty cheap (sub $15). .270 AVG, 25 HR, 25 SB, 85 RBI are in the cards. He is due.

Message #2 by Rob Reed @ February 6, 2010, 10:32am don't forget about him... Injury curtailed his season, and he suffered from the same bad luck that he suffered in 2008 at the plate. A .290+ average is still in the cards, as well as 30-30, if he shows no ill effects during Spring Training.

Message #1 by Rob Reed @ March 21, 2009, 09:34am many folks talking him as #1 and the claim is not without merit... why? look at his BABIP figures in 2005-2007... then look what happened in 2008 (.291). grady's skill set is more likely a .330 figure... and if he did that last year, he would have likely hit close to .300. i can see very similar numbers last year with a .290 batting average... and, if he did that, he would have easily been top 3 i did a playertrack ranking of 2008 OFs, removing batting average from the equation... grady comes in as #2, last year, just behind carlos beltran
