his every other year peak and low...
means that this year is peak... his move from AL to NL seems to have helped the same effect go along, so the move form the AL to the NL should have excellent results this year.

When you put a bid on him, remind folks (especially his owner last year) how much of a detriment he could be... and smile all the way to the bank this year.

really an interesting phenomenon
his graph is one of the strangest in the majors... consistently good every other year... look at the up and down of his ranking graph... I should have known better. He is a primary reason my money league team stinks this year.

all signs point
to him being consistently just as good through the remainder of the season, FYI

He has allowed 14 ER in his last 29 or so innings, so this might be a good time to buy him...

Trade to the Braves makes him more attractive option
This guy was pretty darn good in the AL... so good that I think this is a great move for the Braves and, therefore, he becomes an even better fantasy option than he was before... going from above average fantasy hurler to stud in 2009, methinx.

The strikeout numbers were excellent in the AL... and his 2007 season was very very nice.

I suspect Vazquez now becomes the pitcher that everybody will think they can sneak through in 2009.

Ain't gonna happen.
