Message #3 by Rob Reed @ February 1, 2011, 10:50pm A back injury knocked him out for nine weeks in 2010, and - certainly - it had to have something to do with his poor numbers. He no longer has major pressure as the staff ace because of the presence of Lester and Bucholz. As long as his back is fine, he should post excellent numbers, and many in your league may not be thinking much about him... meaning: potential value pick here.

Message #2 by Rob Reed @ 4/14/08, 10:02am I don't know... He had an amazing season in 2007 that FAR surpassed my predictions. I tend to think that in the AL, he will be more of a 2006 pitcher, though... That's still pretty good for the AL. But, not Cy Young contention good.

He will giv u a good 7 or 8 innings of work pitching great like he always is and provide a 20-win season probably once again this season. We hope to get Curt Shilling back 2 good health but iz pretty tough by the way he is lookin right now but i got faith in him so we hope he can make a full recovery.
