Message #3 by Rob Reed @ February 4, 2011, 06:37pm still a solid pitcher but the move to hitters' ballpark Miller Park is cause for a lot of concern... he will probably be valued too high for my tastes because of the relative risk, but solid numbers of a 3.6ish ERA, 180 Ks, and a 1.2 WHIP are all reasonable.

Message #2 by Rob Reed @ February 14, 2010, 12:18am I see no reason for concern His strand rate is higher than average, so a regression is possible... but not much... sub 3.00 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 13 wins, and a ton of Ks should all still be in the cards.

The Royals just signed him to a 4 yr deal worth $38 million... after dealing with some major psychological issues in 2006, it looks like the pieces are fitting together. Still, wins may come short with the Royals... although there is some recent hype among the baseball webosphere about how the Royals could actually win the AL Central this season. I like Greinke. The problem is that quite a few players in your fantasy leagues probably will, too.
