27 years old and one year contract
The Twins just signed him to a one-year deal... 27 years old. Everything to like.

Message #6 by Rob Reed @ September 2, 2010, 09:55pm
everything to like
High BABIP and still incredibly respectable numbers... love him for 2011... only allowed 3 HRs in 30 more IP than 2009, where he gave up 21 HRs.

Drastic improvement... stud.

might be able to grab him
his numbers have been decent, but not spectacular... and considering his 6-7 record, you might be able to snag him for relatively cheap... his .339 BABIP means good things the rest of the way... a low 3 ERA is easily in the cards, in my opinion, which means he should be sub three the rest of the way

Message #4 by Rob Reed @ March 2, 2009, 08:12pm
wish he was a sleeper...
but everybody remembers how great he was in 2006... he is going pretty high in mock drafts right now in the 8th and 9th rounds... that's pretty high for a pitcher who has only thrown 76 innings in the last two years...

I am definitely interested, but I don't want to pay for him like he's a #1 or #2... and I have a bad feeling that someone will in my money league.

Not bad...
I'm holding on to him, but when I checked his minor league stats late last week, they weren't very good.

He is still struggling a little bit, but the latest news is his fastball has reached 95 mph last weekend.

Hang on to him, if you can. Otherwise, I'd suggest Rich Hill.

That's funny!
I did the same.
Galarraga is not going to last.
If Liriano finds his command in AAA, he could be a major force post all-star break.
They are not going to make a mistake of bringing him back to early this time, but u better believe he'll be back!

Good move?
I'm in a 14 team league and I'm in 9th place. There is absolutely no starting pitching left so I just picked up Liriano as a free agent. His status is NA. I dropped Armando Galarraga to do so. Did I pull the trigger too fast and when do you think he'll be back?
