Big Unit
I'm going to take a wait and see approach on him right now, but his last minor league outing was VERY promising. And, against the Giants, how can you go wrong?

As I posted on 3/26 last year, I had high hopes. Randy actually delivered, although the injury made it short lived. BUT, he pitched me 50 or so innings of BEAUTIFUL baseball.

Let's hope for 100 this season.

I think he is about done, though... so, we have to hope that it is next year when he blows up.

I hope he retires soon so that we won't be tempted in the future.

Coming off the DL tomorrow...
Is he worth a start tomorrow against the Giants? IMHO, I think so.

Rob, I see where you own him & was wondering if you were going to throw Johnson out there tomorrow.

I own Johnson in my money league & need a boost. Hopefully, I can get a little from the Big Unit.

Regards,

Honey Nut Ichiros :-)

But close. Still, if you look at his 2004 before he went back to the AL, he was startling still an excellent fantasy option.

I'm hoping for 3.80 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 7.5 K/9, and 15 W with the Dbacks. All that for $3, and I bought a steal. I think it is possible.

I think it's time to retire.
